Creating bootable USB flash drives on Raspberry Pi
Introduction
Etcher is a free program for burning images (ZIP, img, iso) to various media, such as USB sticks and SD cards for Raspberry Pi.
Etcher is easy to use and ensures efficient burning thanks to its image verification function. Etcher lets you create a bootable Live USB key or external USB hard disk from the Raspberry Pi.
The user interface lets you select the disc image to be burned, plug in the USB media and start burning2.
Automatic detection of USB and SD card storage media. Does not select hard disks. So you can’t accidentally destroy data on a hard disk;
To install Balena Etcher on the Raspberry Pi, we’re going to use an application manager called “Pi-app”, which lets you install any kind of software on your board.
