In this lesson, we will learn how to change the language of your Raspberry Pi. By default, the language is set to English, but it can be changed to French. The first step in Raspberry Pi OS is to open Preferences and then select Raspberry Pi Configuration.

Once you’re in the Raspberry Pi configuration menu, click on Localization:

In Localization, click on Set Locale:

In Set Locale, you can change the language of your Raspberry Pi and select the country:

After closing the Raspberry Pi Configuration, you will be prompted to reboot your Raspberry Pi so that the new language settings are applied:

As you may have noticed, the translation into French is not complete. Only some parts have been translated into French, while the rest remain in English. Hopefully, with future updates, we will have a better translation of Raspberry Pi OS.
